Regional Engagement Fatigue

Online Engagement Session hosted by the WA Local Network Group

Regional engagement fatigue: Surely there’s a better way?

Across Western Australia, regional communities with limited resources and people are being asked to engage more often, by more organisations, on increasingly complex projects. The result? Fatigue, frustration, and diminishing returns for everyone involved.

This interactive online session explores whether a more coordinated, considered approach is possible — and what it might actually look like in practice.

You’ll hear directly from Chantelle King, who brings over a decade of on-the-ground experience working with regional communities.  Together through facilitated breakout discussions we’ll test ideas, share what’s working (and what’s not), and generate practical actions you can take back into your work.

Facilitated by Tracy LeFroy who brings deep regional insight shaped by her time as President of the Shire of Moora, where she worked closely with community, industry and government on local priorities. With a strong grounding in practical engagement, Tracy understands the realities facing regional communities and the importance of clear, coordinated approaches that genuinely reflect local voices.
